Medical Mavericks are the only organisation that can give us a flavour of the full range of professional skills within the NHS. They give students and families a good feel of what the UTC ethos and environment are all about. They’ve been incredibly helpful for students making positive decisions.

The Medical Mavericks were absolutely amazing! The girls have learned so much. They’ve had the opportunity to try key hole surgery to taking blood from an arm & ultrasound. We’ve had ooohs and aaaaahs, muscles have moved and bones have flexed out of the way! Everyone has had the most wonderful time, they’ve learned so much and their minds have been expanded!

Today we have had Medical Mavericks in to work with our students with behavioural difficulties. The students have been switched on & enjoyed themselves immensely. Not only have they learnt loads, they have had a fantastic day.
